Traffic Map
When clicking on the traffic widget (or on a button at the widget) it would be nice that google maps opens and shows the route from work <->
home.

I’ve updated the widget so clicking the time opens directions in Google Maps (not Bing where the data comes from) and clicking the destination label reverses the directions.
The change should be included in the next release in a week and a half.

Is there any expectation that this widget still works? Although my commute is greater than 30 minutes and Google (after clicking) shows things correctly....the widget always shows something like 11 minutes.

Interesting side effect of this: the widget was showing the incorrect travel time from my work to my home, but when I clicked through to the map, Google showed the correct travel time.
This was confusing until I googled and found this page, and realised the problem was that Bing wasn't able to find one of the addresses as I had typed it in (but Google Maps was able to, so I had assumed it was fine).
